General:Date of Release: 28th April 1980
Model Nr: AC-01 Game-Play:It features a Juggler and you control his arms by moving them right or left. Your object is to position the hands under the balls so that they stay in the air. Game differences:In Game A you have 2 balls and are awarded 1 point for every catch, and in Game B you have 3 Balls and are awarded 10 points for every catch. Trivia:Ball was the first Game and Watch made. There was also a Mego/Time-Out version called Toss-Up that was only launched in the USA. Highest possible score is 9,999 in Game A and 9,990 in Game B. Cheats and tricks:Remember that the speed of the ball decreases every 100 points before gradually increasing in speed again. This might be a good time for a little breather. At high ambient temperature you might experience the balls overlapping when the speed has built up. Points:1 point for every ball caught in Game A and 10 points for every ball caught in Game B. Misses:Here you only have one chance. If you fail to catch a ball, it cracks and the game ends. Other notices:If you hold in Game A or Game B key the highest previous score will be displayed. If the unit is left as it is after game is over, time display will appear in about five minutes. A game is not interrupted even if TIME key or other game keys are depressed during game playing. Pressing ACL switch or removing batteries erases high score from memory.
Issue Differences (click to enlarge pictures)The table will show how to tell the different Issues that were made: The battery covers seem to have a number on the back, but they seem to vary a lot and I won't even speculate what the difference is.
