Game-Play:

Donkey Kong Circus is in some ways similar to Mickey Mouse (DC-95). Here it is Donkey Kong balancing on a barrel while juggling pineapples. Move Donkey Kong left and right to catch the pineapples, but beware of the falling fireballs. Mario stands watching his juggling performance.

Game differences:

Game B requires more coordination, technique and timing.

Trivia:

Maximum score displayed is 999 points. When the score reaches 300 all the misses are cancelled and if no misses are recorded the points are awarded at double value until a miss is scored.

Cheats and tricks:

For a high score, determine which hand is available to catch the pineapples falling in the centre of the screen.

Points:

One point for each Pineapple Donkey Kong catches and tosses.

Misses:

One miss is scored when Donkey Kong fails to catch a pineapple, or when he catches a fireball!!! 3 misses (shown by Donkey Kong's head on the upper left side of the screen.), the game ends.

Other notices:

If you hold in Game A or Game B key the highest previous score will be displayed. If the unit is left as it is after game is over, time display will appear in about five minutes. A game is not interrupted even if TIME key or other game keys are depressed during game playing. Pressing ACL switch or removing batteries erases high score from memory.

The battery covers seem to have a number on the back, but they seem to vary a lot and I won't even speculate what the difference is.
