Model Nr: HK-303 Game-Play:Donkey Kong Hockey (HK-303) is the last Game & Watch in the Donkey Kong series. Here Donkey Kong and Mario are playing hockey. The object is to score goals against the opponent. Look out for the referee and 'Crazy Spots' which alter the course and speed of the puck. Game differences:In Game A you play the computer and in Game B you play an opponent. Trivia:The first player to score 10 goals wins. Cheats and tricks:Against the computer (Game A), you can pause the game by pressing the 'HIT' button on controller 2. To release pause, press the 'HIT' button on controller 1 or wait 4 minutes. There are no Handicap games. A skilled player will possess good timing and as well as a knowledge of 'crazy spots' and their effects on the ball. A block will result in a slow, weak shot, whereas a hit will result in a fast, straight shot. The closer the shot to the goal, the faster the shot. Points:1 point for each goal scored. Misses:When you let a goal in, the opponent (computer) scores a point. Other notices:If you hold in Game A or Game B key the highest previous score will be displayed. If the unit is left as it is after game is over, time display will appear in about four minutes. A game is interrupted if TIME key or other game keys are depressed during game playing. Pressing ACL switch or removing batteries erases high score from memory.
Issue Differences (click to enlarge pictures)The table will show how to tell the different Issues that were made:
The battery covers seem to have a number on the back, but they seem to vary a lot and I won't even speculate what the difference is.
