Tell me what you think about my web site, or anything else that comes to mind. I welcome all of your comments and suggestions. As it is only a comments board I will not post any advertising. The post will not show immediately, but will be up there once I've given a reply. I'm afraid I also can't answer any individual valuations. There are too many variables. If you want to know the value of your game go to VALUE or look at www.ebay.com .

bulletYour collection is fantastic! One of the best collections I've seen. Your page layout is nice too. Cheers! /Mats (http://hem.passagen.se/bubblebobble) (10th May 2001)

bulletReply: Thanks Mats for those Comments. This is my first attempt in creating a web-site, so I'm learning all the time. I do cheat a bit however. In stead of learning HTML code, I use Microsoft Frontpage 2000.

bulletTORSTEN YOU COLLECTION ARE SUPER PLUS COOL...
I WILL BEAT YOU SOON....
SEE YOU WWW.PHTOYS.DK (31st May 2001)

bulletReply: Thanks Peter! It's a big Game & Watch world out there. More and more collectors are joining in all the time. I think you also have a great collection.

bulletTorsten rules! So much interesting stuff to look out! Great job! Are you going to start collecting anything else? (22nd July 2001)

bulletReply: Yes, I also collect Vintage Video-Game Systems and Vintage Computers. At the moment I'm concentrating on Philips Videopac and Game & Watches. My favourite other system in the Vectrex. Watch out in the future when my collection has grown I'll include it on this site.

bulletHi, Could you tell me the sort of places you have found most of your game and watches!?
please reply to mikelowe007@aol.com
many thanks, Mike (3rd November 2001)

bulletReply: Hi Mike, Thanks for looking at my web-page. You can find a lot of Game & Watches at www.ebay.com  . The more rare ones are quite expensive there so you can try to find other collectors and trade with them. Another place to find the games are at car-boot sales. There are quite a lot of them here in England. One last thing you can do (although I haven't done it) is to advertise in collector magazines or trade magazines. Hope this helps and happy collecting.

bulletHey Torsten
Good job, your page layout is more beautiful now !
I'm not sure but I think you start to collect virtual Boy games too (?) This is a great system, isn't it ?
If one day you are looking for Bandai, Tomy or Yonezawa handheld games, feel free to come to http://handheldfree.com :o) BTW I changed my banner, you can find the new one (less heavy) on my site...
Take care. /Cedric (5th November 2001)

bulletReply: Hi Cedric, Thanks for the comment. Yes, I agree. The site used to be so dark and dingy. I've just brighten it up a bit. I'd still like to learn how to make it as advanced as yours. I believe you use Flash 5, am I correct? Yes, you are right I have bought some Virtual Boy games and also some Vectrex games, but at the moment I am concentrating on Game and Watches. I believe in having ONE super collection than TWO or THREE half decent ones. But of course once the Game & Watch collection is finished I will no doubt extend my horizon to other marques. All the best and I really like your site.

bulletTorsten, now that you have such a perfect collection, where will you go next? How about helping me with my collection? =) (25th November 2001)

bulletReply: I'm still going to keep on collecting Game & Watches. I'll try to get different variations of Boxes, Instructions and Games. Let me know how I can help?

bulletHey Torsten, Your value guide is great! I found it the most accurate so far! Now that you have such a perfect game & watch collection, where will you go next? (25th November 2001)

bulletReply: Glad you like my Value Guide. It is very hard to know what a game is worth, but I thought if I limit it to 'Perfect' condition games and keep an eye on eBay where most games are bought and sold, people might get an idea. To answer your question 'where will you go next?' see previous answer. Thanks.

bulletExcellent site Torsten,
I've the boxed FutureTronics version of Oil Panic in my collection, would you like a scanned photo to add to your site? Quickjimmy@aol.com (6th January 2002)

bulletReply: Hi, Thanks for your comment. Yes, please that would be great. Thanks!

bulletTorsten, Only just found your site but What an amazing collection you've got, it look's like a lot of hard work gone into it hope you keep adding to it, just started to set my site up but its not as easy as it seems (got 51/59 keep running out of money) Take care Leigh. (23rd February 2002)

bulletReply: Hi Leigh, Thanks for those kind comments and your vote. I'll include it in my next update. Let me know when you have your site up and running and I'll link it from my page. 51 out of 59 (or 60 if you include the YM-901) is also excellent. Not far to go now. All the best, Torsten

bulletI've found out that there is ,in a way, a Game & Watch game you don't own. If the mini-classic is a real G&W series then there is one. Nintendo released one called Smurfs which is based on a TV show and not on any original G&W game
-Frogkid20@aol.com (19th June 2002)
bulletReply: Hi,Thanks for your feedback. The game you refer to, is it this one at http://www.intheattic.co.uk/images/G&W/Mini/The_Smurfs_Mini.JPG model nr.10325 ? If it is, I do have it, otherwise I would be interested to see a picture of the one you refer to. Cheers, Torsten

bulletWhen searching for websites on Google, I was devastated to find that the domain name www.intheattic.co.uk was taken up with loads of cr*p! I thought that there should be more of a range - Taxidermy? Antiques? AND 'classic' video games?! (27th July 2002)
bulletReply: Well, one mans Cr*p is another mans treasure. What an idiotic statement. I've decided to concentrate on classic Videogames and especially Nintendo Game & Watch. I'm afraid it's up to me what I want to put on my site and many enthusiastic collectors enjoy my site, so all I can say: Tough, get over it !!!!!!!!

bulletI found your site via a Google search (don't you love the Internet). I have a YM-105 1988 SUPER MARIO BROS game that my wife gave me for my Birthday way back when.  I have now passed this on to my daughter, but unfortunately, I lost the manual!  I was wondering if there was a way to play the game without sound (that is, is there a way to turn off the sound).  Any ideas?
Thanks,
Doug
doug_levitt@yahoo.com (4th August 2002)
bulletReply: Hi Doug, Thanks for visiting my site. About your question, I'm afraid these old handheld games don't have the option of turning the sound off Note: (some actually do, I now have found out, but not many). I guess if you wanted to be drastic, you could always open the unit and cut off the wires to the speaker, but you would have to be desperate to do that. I'm updating my Reviews section at the moment and will eventually scan the whole manual onto my web-site. I've done the Wide-Screen series, but not yet the New Wide-Screen series. Otherwise enjoy these excellent vintage games. Yours sincerely, Torsten

bulletHi, I am trying to find some information about Gautier Caddet he runs Gautier's g&w http://www.gameandwatch.fr.st/ your link is on his site.
I paid him for some G&W's he cashed the money order and kept the goods and now he wont answer my emails. This has gone on for 2 months now.
So if you have any information I could use please send it to me.
Regards, David... dmitchell@primus.com.au (21st August 2002)
bulletReply: Hi David, hanks for your mail. I've dealt with Gautier a few times and he has always been very reliable. I must admit, now he has stopped collecting Game & Watches I've also lost contact with him. Maybe he has been on holiday? Otherwise it doesn't sound like Gautier, not to honour his deals. Sorry I can't be more helpful, but hopefully it will all come good. Cheers, Torsten

bulletWonderful site, keep up the good work. (17th September 2002)
bulletReply: Thanks!!!

bulletExcellent site !!! Congratulations.
I just want to inform you that there is an incorrect link for the 4&5 pages for 'Fire Attack' instruction manual (G&W ID-29) : the pages are those from 'FIRE' manual (FR-27) !!
Do you have the correct pages ?? (17th September 2002)
Thanks a lot for your whole work !
bulletReply: Thanks for letting me know. I have now changed those pages. I'm hoping to have completed the review pages by December this year. Glad you enjoyed my site.

bulletHi Torsten, I'm always happy to see your site growing so fast with new games added. Your site and your collection is the most complete that you will ever find on the net. Nice work and please continue.... Cheers, Charly from France. (19th September 2002)
bulletReply: Thanks Charly. It is always nice to talk to you and thanks for finding all the Mini Classics for me. Talk to you soon, Torsten

bulletHey, great site!! I'm just starting out as a collector would you like to link?
http://greenhouse.cjb.net email me accursed@accursed.co.uk . (24th September 2002)
bulletReply: Hi, Thanks for your comments. Yes, I would like to link your site. Do you have a banner? If not, I'll just link your address. Thanks and good luck in your collection. Cheers, Torsten

bulletHello there,
This is the best site to date that I have seen. You have every thing, and every thing is so detailed and in such great order. I hope that you take advantage and play your games on a regular basis, I know I would. If only Nintendo would release some new games. Thanks for the site. Peace.
Luis dkaeone@aol.com . (13th October 2002)
bulletReply: Hi, Glad you like the site. I do try to play the games now and then. I actually prefer some games to the new modern games. Hope you also play and maybe even send in a picture of your high Scores. Thanks, Torsten.

bulletHey Torsten, your FEEDBACK has dried up! What's with that? :p Well here's a new one :
Your collection ROCKS!

bulletHi
Great Site - I have placed a link from my site over at http://www.retro-trader.com/ to yours ! We have over 300 handheld games for sale and thousands of other computers and games also which we are listing and placing up on the site over Xmas 2002 ! But it is a hobby so takes time , thanks for this great site and a link back appreciated !!
Regards
Paul (10th December 2002)
bulletHi, love your site as well. You have soooo many different systems. I've got a few vintage computers and vintage game consoles as well, but haven't put them up on my site yet. Isn't it great collecting these old computers and games. I'll put your banner on my site as well. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Cheers, Torsten

bulletHi there. Really do enjoy your site. Let me know if you would like to link our sites to each other.  I am developing my new site, which is about 25% complete but still worth a look at.  I think you will enjoy it and also your viewers.  It features retro handheld and tabletop games from my collection, games for sale/trade and much much more.  Let me know if you are interested.  My site is Game In Hand and the link to it is: www.gameinhand.net  You can reach me at  webmaster@gameinhand.net   Happy Holidays! (27th December 2002)

bulletHi, Nice one! I absolutely love retrogame sites and yours is no exception. I was interested to see your top 101, but can't understand that you 'only' chose 2 games from the Nintendo Game & Watch series. I absolutely love the Game & Watches and it is great fun collecting them. I do agree about Moon Patrol though. I have never played it on a handheld, but the arcade version is one of my all time favourite games (My absolute favourite arcade being Missile Command). I would like to link your site, but do you have a banner I could use? All the best and have a Happy New Year, Torsten

bulletHello.  Great site!  Very glad to see that you made it!  Would you like to trade links?  My site is:
http://www.miniarcade.com - A museum of my collection of vintage handheld games
If you would like to trade links, let me know and I can add yours for sure if you would like to do the same for mine.  I'm a game collector too, my name is Steven Read, I'm in the USA.  Take care! (8th January 2003)
bulletReply: Hi Steven, Yes that would be fine. I have seen your site before and enjoyed it very much. About the link, please e-mail me your banner at torsten.lindh@virgin.net Take care and it would be fun if we could do some trading in the future. Cheers, Torsten

bulletI think your collection is fantastic. Is there anything strictly G&W related that you feel you're missing or are you done and dusted? I especially like the Pocket sizes, just out of curiosity- are there any remaining out there that you don't have listed?
I'm sorry my fiend, I've gone a little off track there-
keep updating your site- new info is always keenly received!
Have a good one!
LIFE IS DISEASE (4th February 2003)

bulletReply: Hi L.I.D. Thanks for that. I don't know about done and dusted, but I have definitely slowed down a lot. When I first started collecting I thought. Right, I'll get the 60 games boxed and that will be fine. How little did I know that all these different variations were going to come out of the woodworks. Anyway, here I am 3 years later and still haven't finished my collection. I'll talk to you again soon, no doubt. Cheers, Torsten

bulletHi there,
I think that your site is fuckin wicked hey ! The amount of effort and time put into it is much respected from all the collectors around the world. I have learnt a lot from your site and it is on my 'favourites' list. Thank you !!!
Aaron, OZ (2nd March 2003)

bulletReply: Thanks. It is comments like yours, that make it all seem worthwhile. Cheers, Torsten

bullethi, great website, hope you can help. In my parents attic was a Texas little professor and a firefox handheld game. both are in good condition and have boxes and all instructions. any idea what they are worth. (7th June 2003)
bulletReply: Hi, I'm afraid I know very little about those games, but if you go to www.gameandweb.com or www.handheldfree.com they might be able to help you. Thanks.

bulletHi Torsten, many thanks for putting up my banner. Your collection and site are awesome. Keep up the good work, greetings from the Netherlands, Danny (18th July 2003)
bulletReply: No worries. Thanks as well.

bulletHi!
After a moderately involved search of the web I stumbled across this site.  It is by far the most comprehensive Game & Watch site I've found.  And it has pictures, and directions!  Most awesome.
I have a Nintendo "Fire!" Game & Watch that's been packaged like a little red Game Boy, which as it turns out is the "Mini Classic" version.  While I *thought* it was the same version as the older Time Out, just repackaged, I see from your pictures that it is in fact a complete remake.  I never thought someone would do a fresh production run on these little guys.
I got this one years ago on a discount rack at K-Bee Toys, because I remembered playing the Time Out version in college that a guy down the hall owned.  I almost bought all three of them ... now I wish I had, though I heartened to find they're still pretty widely available.  One day this one is going to give up the ghost.
Naturally I don't have the directions for this thing any more, since it's been years.  The game works perfectly, and is in excellent condition despite years of play.  I take it with me any time I expect to be waiting, so it's seen a lot of use.  It's very easy to understand how it works, *except* for setting the clock.
When the batteries are put in it "lights" all the elements.  Pressing any button starts it up.  It's got an alarm that's easily set using the right-most button, clearly marked "TIME/ALARM".  There is a recessed button on the back of the unit, but that does a full reset, it does not allow the time to be set like the "ACL" indent on the Time Out.
Do you or anyone else have any clue how to set the time on this thing?
Thanks in advance for your time.  Keep up the good work!  BTW, not everyone uses Flash, since more annoying ads use it than anything else ... if you go that route be sure the site is at least *usable* without it. Ragnorok (19th July 2003)
bulletReply: Thanks for your story. I think all of us collectors of these games have some kind of 'memories' from our younger days. That is why it is so much fun to collect and unlike a lot of other collectable things, this one seems to have an end although every time I think that, something new turns up.
Unfortunately as I've never opened one of my 'mini-classic' games I have not got a clue how to set the time. Maybe someone out there can write in and help?
Once again, thanks for your comments.

bulletHi, I am a Vectrex collector who has just started collecting game & watch. I have quite a rare Vectrex game I would be interested in trading for a MIB Game & Watch games. It is a NEW OLD STOCK Fortress of Narzod (complete) it is in perfect condition and has never been opened. I also have more Vectrex stuff. I look forward to a reply. e-mail: nubiandaze@yahoo.com.au (1st November 2003)
bulletReply: It's good to see a fellow collector. I've put my Vectrex collection on hold for the moment as I'm still concentrating on my Game & Watch collection. Maybe somebody out there is interested?

bulletDid you know rainshower sold on ebay recently for £380? (5th November 2003)
bulletReply: Yes. I saw that and I've updated my value guide accordingly. I have seen a rainshower go for more than that, but it was a rare pocketsize one and I only list the 'normal' games on there.

bulletHi again, just to let you know of some high priced game and watches that have gone through ebay recently, rainshower £641.00, donkey kong £252, lifeboat £247, mario bros £255, pinball £275. (26th November 2003)
bulletReply: Well that Rainshower auction was amazing. It is definitely now the highest I have ever seen.

bulletHi,
Congratulations to and thanks for your great site ! I am from Austria and also grew up with those games. I had most of the Game&Watch models, but unfortunately sold them at a Flea market 10 years ago. (must have been some momentarily blackness of mind...) - now I am trying to get them (and others) again, mostly through ebay.
I found your site when searching for details about "CHEF" (a very underrated model IMHO) via google. Yours is the most informative site I have found so far and I spent some time downloading the manuals and some pics. I never found a link to your site from another G+W page - maybe because they would look pale in comparison to yours :)
I would like to contribute to your site, but since you have so much information there already the only thing I can think of is some Highscore-Pics if you still update that page. Interested ? Have you ever thought of posting Pics of the insides of the games ? Whenever I need to repair a game, I make some pics of it - for future reference and just for the fun of it. e.g. a HELMET without the golden front-plate looks really strange... Or a pic with all parts neatly taken apart (except soldering of course) On this subject I could send you some pics. Maybe you could call it "The Butchers Corner" ... thanks again for all the work you put into your site and best greetings, Paul.

P.S. greetings to Sweden (I work for IKEA and have been there a few times - I like the "soul" of the country - and the fact that people drive so many Volvos there [the 240 was the best car I owned]) (4th December 2003)
bulletReply: Hi Paul. Thanks for your comments and being brave enough to admit you liking for the Volvo. Just kidding, I think Volvos are great also and have improved in design tremendously lately. About the games. Yes, they are truly fascinating. It was a beginning of an era and very exciting. I'm glad you are getting back into collecting and find my site useful. I bet you didn't realise when you sold the games that they now would be so valuable?
As for contribution, I would be delighted with some hi-scores. Just send the picture as jpg format to my e-mail address: torsten.lindh@virgin.net . If you find out some more information about the games then please let me know. As you can see, not all pages are complete yet, but they will hopefully soon. I also have some 'inside' pics of Parachute and I will post them shortly, but feel free to send anything you like. I will most definitely post them and your idea of a 'Butchers Corner' is great...... Anyway, good luck with your collecting and no doubt we will talk again. Cheers.

bulletHey Torsten,
This is a great site - with some really good information. I'm impressed with your mini classics collections. Where did you get half of those games. In the UK I can only find four. If you can give some pointers that would be great.
Peace out!!! (9th December 2003)
bulletReply: Hi, I bought most of my mini-classics in Sweden and from a guy in Germany. Some I bought in England. If you want to buy some try going to www.ebay.com as they do turn up there now and then. At the moment they are very cheap to buy. Good luck.

bulletThanx Torsten,
Through eBay I have managed to get a couple of mini classic games. If you have the time, could you please advise of anyone who still sells mini classics - especially the dual screen games. Thanx again!!
Peace out!!!! (1st January 2004)
bulletReply: Glad I could help. I'm afraid I don't know anyone who sells them anymore. I think eBay is your best bet. Keep looking! Cheers.

bulletHi,
Zelda sold on ebay on 16/12/03 for £89.99. I only pass this on because you seem to be the worlds authority on game and watches.
regards Colin. (4th January 2004)
bulletReply: Thanks Colin. I've updated my value page with that information. Cheers.

bulletHi, Your website contains the most info I have ever seen on Game & Watch Games. Keep up the good work.
Also I know the original price for a DK JR game (DJ-101). They originally sold for AU$35.99 (Australian Dollars). Thanks, Travis (21st January 2004)
bulletReply: Thanks Travis. Glad you like it. I've added your information. Cheers.

bulletHello Torsten

Your site is still the most complete site around....keep it going. I have been looking at your G&W goldcliff pocket power brochure, do you have a picture of the back page and inside covers or do you know if it has the same details in it as the zelda one. cheers Leigh  www.retro-land.co.uk (1st February 2004)
bulletReply: Hi Leigh, Sorry as I don't own the brochure, I only have the front picture.

bulletYou've got a lot of game boy color games.
When r u gonna get a game boy advance games list? from daleboy and leebo (3rd February 2004)
bulletReply: Funnily enough, I don't own a Game Boy Advance. For the time being I'm only collecting games pre year 2000

bulletHi, I just love your site. I have a question to ask you.
Was there 2 different colour cases for the widescreen fire game (FR-27)? I just bought one off ebay and when I received it, it had a green plastic surround and back case. All the markings on the back are correct. I can send you photo's if you want.
thanks, Travis (6th February 2004)
bulletReply: Hi Travis, glad you like the site. I think a photo would be great as I'm not quite sure what you mean. Send the picture to my e-mail address at torsten.lindh@virgin.net Thanks.

bulletr u only collecting info for Nintendo? I think you're website is fantastic because I needed some info for a project I am doing for school. from daleboy (7th February 2004)
bulletReply: Glad my site helped you out. At the moment I'm only collecting info about Nintendo, but maybe later I'll get information about other brands.

bullet Can I help you for your website from daleboy (10th February 2004)
bulletReply: You are welcome to help me with pictures and information if you want. Any help is appreciated. Even if you send some hi-score pictures, that would be good. Please send all information to my e-mail address torsten.lindh@virgin.net Thanks!

bulletHi!  Your site is great!!  How did you get all those Game & Watch Games?!?  I HAVE NONE!!!!!  I live in Canada, Am 13 years old, have no money, but can you help me find a way to buy some game & watches?  I really want the Zelda one.  Thanks! (Your Site ROCKS!)
Could I buy one of your still packaged Zelda games? (22nd February 2004)
bulletReply: I've been collecting for 4 Years and it does take a long time. The easiest, but probably the most expensive is at www.ebay.com .For more information go to http://www.intheattic.co.uk/how_to_collect.htm . Unfortunately the only ones I have for sale are at: http://www.intheattic.co.uk/gamewatch_sale_trade.htm . Good Luck with your new hobby.

bulletHi, I love the Game & Watch section, I lost my youth to Mario cement factory (ml-102) and Donkey Kong jr (hk-101?) You asked for original buying prices for those that don't have the info.... The original Game & Watch Mario Cement Factory ml-102 cost me £8.49 new in 1983 (strangely from a chemist and beauticians that my mum was visiting, I was 8 yrs old!) Hope this helps Great site, nice to see it stay current. Steve Booth stevebooth03@hotmail.com (29th February 2004)
bulletReply: Thanks for the info. I'll update my site. The Game & Watch section is the one I've been working on the most. Glad you enjoyed your visit. All the best......

bulletHi, Here is another update for you: A Mickey Mouse Panorama just sold on eBay for US$1425 (item #3178571326) thanks, Travis (6th March 2004)
bulletReply: Thanks for that. Looks like prices are going up quite a lot.

bulletI love your site!! - I use it to get info on G&W issues. Congratulations.
I also have one question. I have a new Donkey Kong game and when I look at the back the indented information about the game is upside down!. Relative to the serial number, hinges and battery compartment this info is flipped 180 degrees.
Given you knowledge about all the previous G&W's have you ever seen or heard of this before?...could it mean my game is worth millions!!!!???   ;)
If you or anyone who reads this and knows something please let me know. Also, my email is buznapper@hotmail.com. Oliver (9th March 2004)
bulletReply: Yes, I think it could be worth millions!!!!!!! I must admit, I have never heard of this. Do you have a picture of this so I can take a closer look? If so, please e-mail it to torsten.lindh@virgin.net and I might be able to help you a bit more. Thanks for your posting and I'm glad you like the site.

bulletHello there,
This is my 2nd time viewing this site and I must say that you are the best. I want to know do you have any insight into weather Nintendo will be releasing any new or classic game and watch in their original form like Mattel did with their football and baseball games from the 80's. (13th March 2004)
bulletReply: Thanks you very much. I'm afraid I do not have any insight, but as far as I have heard there will be no re-releases. Not too long ago Stadlbauer released mini-classics versions of some of the games though. You can find them on eBay now and then. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

bulletHello there,
I'm a big fan of game and watch and I think that your page is great. I wanted to know if there is any way that you can send me images of the characters from Fire Attack, in every position if possible. I need clear images if its possible. My email address is luistav@netzero.com. Thanks and keep up the great work. (28th April 2004)
bulletReply: Sorry to disappoint you, but all the pictures I've got are on my site. I've also stored away my games for the time being. I'll put it out there. If anyone can help please e-mail. Cheers!

bulletDamn you got all those games from 1998? You ought to try your hand at import gaming now - the hardcore collectors' market. Great website and collection. You might wanna try http://www.cex.co.uk for a few more retro bits. Later (4th May 2004)
bulletReply: Great site. For now I'm happy, but you never know in the future. Cheers.

bulletHey Torsten. Been away from the G&W scene for a while but just stumbled across this site after a couple of years. I always thought your collection was impressive, but you're an airline pilot! I don't know which is the most impressive! Anyway, I just wanted to point out that you've got pictures of micro-vs battery covers on your supercolor pages. Andy Cole. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gameandwatch (7th May 2004)
bulletReply: Hi Andy, I do remember you. Didn't I trade a green boxed judge for a time-Out Flagman with you a few years ago? Anyway, it is always nice to hear from fellow collectors. I haven't seen you around for a while. As for flying airplanes, I guess we all got to do something for a living and flying is what I enjoy. I'm still fine-tuning all my pages and I've taken away the wrong pictures. Thanks for pointing that out. I've still got a bit more to do though before it is finished. It is just finding the time to do it. Cheers.

bulletGreat site - I've added a link to you from my retro games website - www.consolepassion.co.uk - we are re-opening on May 29th and will have a HUGE stock update. Regards, AndyB (28th May 2004)
bulletReply: Hi Andy. Great site of yours as well. I'll be happy to link to your site also, but couldn't find your banner. Please e-mail it to me at torsten.lindh@virgin.net Cheers.

bulletNice to see that someone is willing to put that kind effort in giving people so much useful info on game&watch. It probably took a lot of time...pictures of most boxes/variations, even scanned all instructions booklets -WOW! Do you own every game and watch in your review section +the variations? I'd really like to see your pocketsize collection. Keep it up! (and your Boeing too:)
regards, Mattijs (28th May 2004)
bulletReply: Thanks for those kind words. No, I don't own all the games on my site unfortunately. I took away my collection page for a while, but I'll put it back up hopefully soon. Cheers.

bulletHi. I have a gb game w/o instructions and cant figure out a certain part, looks like there's nothing to do in it.  Is there any way you can share instructions for a game u have?  thanx.  vnva2@aol.comSubmit (14th July 2004)
bulletReply: Hi, At the moment all my Game Boy games are stored away, so unfortunately I can't get the instructions. The other problem is that scanning all the instructions for all Game Boy games would be too much and there isn't any possibility to do that. My Game & Watch section is the only part I've almost completed. Good Luck!

bulletHi love the web site loads of good stuff, what a collection! I was wondering if anyone knows how to open a rainshower? I need to split the right hand side as the a and b buttons have stopped working I've tried everything but don't want to break it! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. (3rd October 2004)
bulletReply: Hi, thanks for you comments. If anyone can help, let us know. Thanks

bulletHi, had a look at your valuations page, are you serious when you say that a Multi-Screen Rain Shower went for $1100 !  I have one in mint so am now rubbing my hands, or shouldn't I get too excited ? Thanks Dave. (18th November 2004)
bulletReply: Yes, it is true. Get excited. If everything is in new condition then that is what it should go for. You can have a look here. Just finished on eBay. MUST be in NEW condition though. rain1.jpg (73715 bytes)

bulletHello all!  I'm not a big Game and Watch collector myself, but know a fair bit about them as I am a huge NES and SNES collector.  Any how, I recently picked up a MC-25 Mickey Mouse POCKETSIZE new in the box.  I know that the pocketsize, as being sold only in the US and Canada, are somewhat more desirable than normal.  Unfortunately, the box has a little one inch long, 2 cm high tear on the side of the box that depicts mickey and minnie with the eggs and hen and what not.  The tear goes across the actual picture of the game itself, about half way.  Aside from that, the box is in quite excellent condition.  The game, however, is unused, 100% mint.  The instructions, stickers, warranty, and styrofoam insert are mint as well.  Any idea on its value?  Thanks for your time everyone! (20th December 2004)
bulletReply: You are right the Pocketsize versions are more valuable, but saying that Mickey Mouse is one of the most common pocketsize games. Still, I would value it at about US$200-US$350. Any other valuations out there?

bulletHi Torsten,
The Tabletop part of your site seems to have a few problems. There are no pictures of the games ?!?! and the pictures of the foams/contents etc. are of the widescreen series. Just thought I'd mention it.
I love the fact that you were fulfilling a "dram" (sic.) by flying on Concorde. Obviously, you meant a "dream" but it works anyway.
Was surprised that you didn't put a cheeky bid on the flagman game with English instructions I sold recently.
Well, I've got one (spare) set left, although they don't have a staple in.... I feel a trade coming on if you're up for it.
cheers,
Jon (wtw) Kershaw (5th March 2005)
bulletReply: Hi Jon, Yes. I know there are many parts of my site that are not complete yet and it has taken its time. One day hopefully. Nice spotting my deliberate error. Fixed it now.....I was going to put a bid in, but the flight I was on was delayed and I didn't get to a computer on time. I'm still hoping someone will want to trade English instructions with Japanese instructions + $70. What trade do you have in mind? Cheers, Torsten

bulletFantastic site.  Love the Game and Watch section.  And totally respect the level of depth and detail provided.
Thanks for the memories. Mark Brewer Wolverhampton, UK (16th March 2005)
bulletReply: Glad to be appreciated for all the effort put into the site. Thanks.

bulletHello, I have just had a spring clean, and I have both Zelda and Goldcliff dual screen games.....the boxes have been opened, but the games have never been used, they are still in original plastic, and have all the paperwork etc in the box....what sort of value am I looking at for these....as they are both a1 mint?....b'rgds  Gareth UK (22nd March 2005)
bulletReply: Congratulations on your find. If you have a look at my value page you can see what the maximum price has been, but to get that price you will have to be very lucky. I would say 50% of that would be more realistic.

bulletHi there,
I was just searching the web for good games websites and I found your site. I thought that you might be interested in the website we have just set up- it is a specialist auction website for video games. Among many great features, you get £5 free credit when you sign up; but I'm not going to bore you... You can check it out, I genuinely think you will be interested.

Kind Regards, Ian The Gamescult Team (25th March 2005)
bulletReply: Hi Ian. It looks great. Lets hope it takes off and can compete with eBay. There are not many Game & Watch items there at the moment, but hopefully soon.

bulletDear Torsten: In your Gold Series of Game & Watches you accidentally put the information of Oil Panic in Helmet and Lion.
Chris (6th April 2005)
bulletReply: Thanks for letting me know. I'll update them hopefully soon. Cheers

bulletGreat site. I've just started my G&W collection and I am puzzled by all the different issues & 'brands'; futuretronics, cgl etc. Is it as simple as each particular brand was in one particular country? Do you have any info on this? Difference in rarities/values? This could make an interesting section on your website? Apologies if this info is already there. Erik (12th April 2005)
bulletReply: Hi. If you have just started collecting, concentrate on the 'normal' collection. Apart from maybe the Pocketsize series and one or two other series, most people don't like the other variations and so are usually cheaper to buy. You are right, the different variations depends on the country. Some distributors repackaged the game, added their logo and sold it alongside Nintendo who sold it in 'normal' boxes. I will try to incorporate the different games rarities eventually, but it is hard to do as all I can go on is personal experience which might differ from other peoples. Good luck on your collection. Torsten

bullethey videogames-fan... I am just a fan of all those old games too... Please, bring a visit to my site, www.videogames-museum.com
Kind regards, Harald
ps: keep up the good work :-) (23rd May 2005)
bulletReply: Had a look. It is always fun to see other collectors out there. Cheers.

bulletYour site is great , the pics the info and everything ! I'm starting to collect Game & Watches too now , so far I've got Super Mario Bros (Boxed) , DK Jr , DK II & I've just bought (waiting for it to arrive) Mario's cement Factory (Mint in box) . Keep it up & thanks for all the great info !! (12th July 2005)
bulletReply: Glad you liked it. Good luck with your collection!

bulletHi Torsten,
What an excellent collection and an excellent website!!!!  Have you even though about writing a G and W book as I would certainly buy it.
Have you stopped collecting now that you have the full 60?  It's a lot tougher to collect here in Australia.  Thank goodness for eBay.
Take care, Andrew. (11th August 2005)
bulletReply: Thanks for your comment. There is a French collector in the process of writing a book. I've helped him with pictures and information so hopefully he will be publishing it shortly. I'll advertise it on my site when it is out. Cheers.

bulletYou have an extremely awesome web site.  It is very comprehensive and in-depth.  I am curious about all the photos that you have in the "Reviews" section.  The photos of instructions, games, boxes, different box issues, different game issues, different brand and language variations, are they all photos of your personal collection?  I just started collecting and purchased my first 3 games.  In you don't mind me asking, approximately how much did you spend to get your entire collection?  Thank you for having such a wonderful web site.  :-) Mr. Jeffrey Gee (13th August 2005)
bulletReply: The photos are mostly them that I have in my personal collection at one time or another. Some I have sold and some traded. Few pictures I have got from eBay and some other collectors have let me use. I must admit I have no idea how much I've spent totally, but it is quite a bit. All I know is that my collection has increased in value which is good news. Good luck with your collection. Cheers.

bulletHi Torsten,
What do you think of the following?
I have an opportunity to purchase a MIMB Green house for USD 340.00.
Do you think this is a good price if I really wanted to add this to my collection?  Are MIMB Green house's rare?
What is the best Green house you have in a box and what did this cost you?
Any information is appreciated. Thanks Andrew (17th of August 2005)
bulletReply: If you look at my value page you can see the highest price the MIMB game has ever gone for. At the moment Greenhouse is at USD 305. There are quite a few MIMB Greenhouse games out there so I recon you could get it for a lot cheaper than that. I managed to get my MIMB Greenhouse for £50 a while back. Good Luck.

bulletHi Torsten,
Sorry I just read the beginning of your comments page regarding valuations etc.
Sorry, please ignore my last comment.
Regards Andrew (17th of August 2005)
bulletReply: Too late, already relied to it....................

bulletHej Torsten!

bulletGreat .. I learn a lot on G&W with your skills
question : where can i find batterry cover for G&W
thanks regards JP (pilly@wanadoo.fr)  (3rd October 2005)
bulletReply: I have some for sale here. You could look at other peoples web-sites. Otherwise if all else fails buy the loose game with the battery cover. Most games are pretty cheap to buy loose.

bullethello !,do you know this game & watch ?

regards - steve (7th October 2005)
bulletReply: Thanks for the link. There has been a lot of speculation through the years about the Tetris Game & Watch. Personally I think it never got off the starting blocks and that there was not even a prototype made. I believe the picture to be a fake (a very good one as well), but unless I'm proven wrong I won't change my mind. It's a pity Nintendo won't say................
