General:Date of Release: 28th April 1983 Model Nr: CM-72 Game-Play:Mario's Cement Factory Features Mario (off course) who is trying to load the cement trucks with cement. Sounds easy, but it is not. Mario has to manoeuvre around platforms and lifts to open up the four hoppers and let the cement into the truck. Game differences:Game B requires more coordination, technique and timing. Trivia:Highest possible score is 999. At 300 points all misses are cancelled and if you have no misses the 2 lower hoppers remain open for 70 to 80 seconds. Mario only has to watch the upper hoppers. Cheats and tricks:Remember each hopper holds 3 loads of concrete (A warning signal will sound
when the hopper is full). Only one load of concrete flows with each press of the
button. Make sure you don't overflow!!!! Points:1 point for each load of concrete emptied from the upper hopper to the lower hopper and 2 points for each load emptied from the lower hopper into the truck. With every 100 points earned a melody plays. Misses:When concrete overflows a hopper and lands on the truck driver below. When Mario tries to get on a lift and misses, or when he rides the lift to the ceiling or the basement. When you have 3 misses (shown by Mario's on the upper right side of the screen.), the game ends. Other notices:If you hold in Game A or Game B key the highest previous score will be displayed. If the unit is left as it is after game is over, time display will appear in about five minutes. A game is not interrupted even if TIME key or other game keys are depressed during game playing. Pressing ACL switch or removing batteries erases high score from memory.
Issue Differences (click to enlarge pictures)The table will show how to tell the different Issues that were made: N/A The battery covers seem to have a number on the back, but they seem to vary a lot and I won't even speculate what the difference is. Box Variations (Click to enlarge):
