Game-Play:

In Mickey & Donald a building is on fire. Luckily Mickey and Donald are firemen trying to extinguish the blaze. Donald is on the roof trying to put out the fire as it climbs up the building. Goofy is working the water pump, but needs encouragement from Mickey. Sometimes when a big volume of water is pumped Mickey needs to stop the patches from leaking and repair them when they do. When the fire is out Mickey get a big hug from Minnie Mouse and the fire starts all over again.

Game differences:

Game B requires more coordination, technique and timing.

Trivia:

Maximum score is 999 and when the score reaches 300 all misses will be cancelled. If there are no misses scores are awarded at double value until a miss occurs or water leaks from the hose.

Cheats and tricks:

You need to keep encouraging Goofy to work faster, otherwise he slows down. It is more important to prevent a leak from happening in the first place than to patch up a leak, because it takes a long time for the water to reach the roof again.

Points:

1 point is scored for every fireball Donald puts out. When all the fire is put out, 15 extra points are rewarded.

Misses:

When the fire reaches the roof, it burns Donald's tail and a miss is scored. Note that a water leak is not a miss, but be aware that Donald doesn't get any water to put out the fire on the roof. With 3 misses (shown by 3 fires in the upper left corner of the screen), the game is over.

Other notices:

If you hold in Game A or Game B key the highest previous score will be displayed. If the unit is left as it is after game is over, time display will appear in about five minutes. A game is not interrupted even if TIME key or other game keys are depressed during game playing. Pressing ACL switch or removing batteries erases high score from memory.

The battery covers seem to have a number on the back, but they seem to vary a lot and I won't even speculate what the difference is.
