Game-Play:

Squish Features Ziggy the Mazeman and is lost in the maze being controlled by Grumpy.

Game differences:

In Game A Grumpy moves the maze up, down, left and right from his upstair control room. In the attempt of squashing Ziggy, Grumpy gradually increases the speed of the maze movement. Control Ziggy so that he will not get caught between the walls or the dead-end maze. The maze will start to move faster and faster the longer you go. In Game B, 4 maze bugs are displayed in the corners. Ziggy has to try to zap out these bugs quickly by moving onto them.

Trivia:

At every 80 and 90 points in Game A, more complicated mazes will appear and in Game B this happens when the timer reaches '0' in the middle of a game. Highest possible score is 999. When the score reaches 300 all misses are erased.

Cheats and tricks:

In Game B, the maze bugs will revive after a short time if you don't clear the Phase. Also the more phases you clear the faster the maze will move and the quicker the revival time is for the maze bugs.

Points:

In game A, 1 point is rewarded approximately every second.

In game B, whenever the phase is cleared, 10 points + Time left is added to your total. Time left points start of at 20 points, then increase by 2 for every phase cleared, up to a maximum of 50 points.

Misses:

Misses are scored when squashed between the Maze and the walls. With 3 misses (shown by 3 squashed Ziggys in the upper left corner of the upper screen), the game is over.

Game Sounds:

bulletZiggy moving sound.
bulletPoint sound.
bulletMiss sound.
bullet300 points fanfare.
bulletIn time mode there are no sounds.

Other notices:

If you hold in Game A or Game B key the highest previous score will be displayed. If the unit is left as it is after game is over, time display will appear in about five minutes. A game is not interrupted even if TIME key or other game keys are depressed during game playing. Pressing ACL switch or removing batteries erases high score from memory.

The battery covers seem to have a number on the back, but they seem to vary a lot and I won't even speculate what the difference is.
